World famous cartoonists will draw for İzmir residents

Wednesday, April 24, 2024 The 3rd İzmir International Portrait Cartoon Festival, organized by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, brings together many international artists with İzmir residents.   The exhibitions consisting of the works of the artists will meet with art lovers at Alsancak Vasıf Çınar Square and Konak Metro Art Gallery between April 25 and May 19.
İzmir International Portrait Cartoon Festival, which will be held for the third time this year, hosts 17 artists from 9 countries on April 25-28. The festival is curated by Menekşe Çam and includes Jasper Vandecruys from Belgium, Christopher Knapman and George Williams from the United Kingdom, Silvia Radulova and Zlati Krumov from Bulgaria, Philippe Moine and Romain Guyot from France, Niko Kemularia (KEMO) from Georgia, Ivan Sabolic and Kresimir Kvestek from Croatia, Mustafa Tozakı from TRNC, Adrian Bighei from Romania, Burak Akerdem, Cemil Ayana, Turan İyigün and Zeynep Gargi from Turkey.

A memory wall will be created at Fahrettin Altay Metro Station
Within the scope of the festival, exhibitions consisting of the works of artists will meet with art lovers at Alsancak Vasıf Çınar Square and Konak Metro Art Gallery between April 25 and May 19. On April 25 and 26, hundreds of caricatures will be drawn free of charge in the event areas set up in many points of the city, while all artists will meet at Fahrettin Altay Metro Station on April 27 to create a memory wall consisting of fun drawings.
